Come sing with us! There are a lot of really cool ways you can get involved with YPCC. Below are some of the most common ways to engage. If you love to sing and are between the ages of 21 and 45, we hope you’ll join us.
YPCC is a “choose-your-own adventure” choir. There’s truly something for every type of singer, and you can mix and match opportunities as your schedule allows. You can:
Participate in YPCC’s signature 6-8-week concert cycles (no audition required, ages 21-45).
Audition for our sophisticated and select YPCC Chamber Choir (audition required, ages 21-45).
Audition to be a YPCC Community Caroler (audition required, ages 21+) and spread holiday cheer throughout the community in quartets, octets and ensembles.
…Or you can do a combination of things or do it all as a few of our singers do! More questions? Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page for more info.
Choose the cycle(s) you’d like to participate in and make sure to register a few weeks before the first rehearsal. Mark the dates on your calendar. Be mindful—if you miss the registration deadline, you may not be able to sing with us, and that would make us all sad!
Ready to sing with us? Go to our Season 13 Singer Registry Page and register to sing for the cycle(s) that you choose!
You’re all set! Grab a black 3-ring binder to keep your music in and show up to your first rehearsal. We’re excited to have you! Questions? Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page or contact executivedirector@ypccsing.org
In order to ensure the safety and security of singers at any in-person events, the YPCC board and staff have provided the following safety measures. Singers are expected to be vaccinated and boosted against Covid 19. Have questions or concerns? Reach out to executivedirector@ypccsing.org.
